Configure a Device
All the NEON devices are configurable through LoRa. Some of the most common parameters to change among all devices are the event triggers, and the frequency of measurements and messages. Refer to the communication protocol of the device you are using to learn more about the configurable parameters for each device.
The methods to configure a device can be summarized in two as follows.
Using the Online Configurator
TWTG has an online tool publicly available called the NEON Online Configurator, with it the user can generate a downlink that can then be passed through LoRa to configure a device.
For more information on how to use the online configurator refer to this section.
The process and the required parameters to send a downlink via LoRa are dependent on the LNS being used. Refer to your LNS documentation for guidelines on how to achieve this.
Using SolidRed
SolidRed allows the user to configure the devices using its configuration manager. SolidRed takes care of the communication with the LNS to send the downlink without extra steps from the user. Refer to SolidRed's documentation for more information on how to configure the devices through this method.
