Valve Sensor - Quarter Turn (VS-QT)

Last updated 1 year ago

The user must read the before proceeding with the information provided in this section.

The NEON Valve Sensor - Quarter Turn requires a custom bracket designed and provided by TWTG. To install this bracket and the NEON sensor please follow the steps outlined next.

  1. Place the hex bolt on the bottom cavity of the magnetic enclosure and screw the hex bolt to the magnet bracket. This pre-assembled piece will be called magnet bracket in later steps.

  2. Screw the sensor in the sensor bracket. This pre-assembled piece will be called sensor bracket in later steps. Note that the sensor is not symmetrical and can only be mounted in a single orientation.

  3. Remove the handle nut and the handle of the existing valve.

  4. Line up the base bracket with the mounting holes of the valve and screw it in place.

  5. Reattach the handle on top of the base bracket.

  6. Install the magnet bracket from step 1 on top of the valve stem using epoxy glue and use the existing nut to tighten it in place.

  7. Align the sensor bracket assembly with the magnet on the valve stem and screw the sensor bracket onto the base bracket
