Sites are a root entity, they are used to separate physical sites or locations. In SolidRed users can have access to all sites or specific sites. The following actions can be excecuted for sites:

### Add a site

Clicking on the plus (+) icon at the top of the navigation panel, next to the search icon, will expand a context menu. From this menu, SolidRed administrators can add a site.

### Edit site

Clicking on the vertical elipsis of a site will expand a context menu with the option 'Edit site'. Clicking on that option will open a form enabling SolidRed administrators to change the site's name and description.

### Delete site

From the edit site form, the user can click on the 'Delete' button to remove the site and all assets and devices within it.

{% hint style="danger" %}
A confirmation window will show upon clicking the 'Delete' button. Be aware that upon confirmation, the action is **irreversible**.
