# Steam line features

The steam line use case is intended for the NEON Temperature Transmitter using communication protocol v5 and configured for dual PT100 mode. Temperature 1 refers to the steam temperature, and Temperature 2 refers to the condensate temperature.&#x20;

### Detail

The detail page of the steam line use case displays the steam and condensate temperature, as well as the status of the steam line based on the steam trap settings.&#x20;

Clicking on the eye icon of the steam trap status will provide further information on the steam trap's status.&#x20;

Clicking on the pencil icon next to the steam trap settings will open a form for the user to add information about the steam trap and the steam line. Providing this information will ensure that the steam trap alerts are more accurate.&#x20;
